1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Ticktora (the "App"), operated by Lukshya Arora ("Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are a minor, you may only use the App with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
2. Nature of the Service — Educational Only
Ticktora is an educational application designed to teach trading, investing, and financial market concepts through gamified lessons, quizzes, and simulated trading exercises.
Ticktora is not:
A brokerage, exchange, or trading platform
A registered investment adviser or financial advisory service
A provider of investment recommendations, research, or advice
Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All content — including quizzes, historical scenario simulations, and the Practice Trading feature — is provided solely for educational purposes. Users should consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser or other qualified professional before making real financial decisions.
3. Historical Scenario Simulations
The App includes historical scenario simulations that run on an approximate reconstruction of past price action, modelled from documented levels years in the past. That reconstruction is not exact, live, or licensed market data: no exchange, index provider, or market-data vendor supplies, verifies, or endorses it, and the prices, volumes, and timings you see will differ from what was actually traded.
Past performance is not indicative of future results. Nothing shown in a scenario — the price path, the outcome of a decision, or the coaching feedback that follows it — is a prediction, a forecast, an investment recommendation, or advice on any real security. Scenarios are provided strictly for educational demonstration.
4. Practice Trading Feature — Fully Simulated Environment
The App includes a "Practice Trading" feature (the "Meridian Exchange" or successor branding) that simulates a trading environment using entirely fictional companies, tickers, prices, and market data.
You acknowledge and agree that:
No company, ticker symbol, price, or market event within the Practice Trading feature refers to, represents, or is derived from any real, currently or formerly listed company or security.
All prices are generated by an algorithmic model for entertainment and educational purposes only and do not reflect real market conditions.
Cash balances, holdings, and profit/loss figures within Practice Trading have no monetary value, cannot be withdrawn, exchanged, or redeemed for real currency or any other thing of value, and are reset or forfeited at our discretion.
Any resemblance between a fictional company in the App and a real company is coincidental and unintentional; if you believe such a resemblance exists, please contact us at support@ticktora.com so we can review it.
The Practice leaderboard ranks percentage returns on virtual cash in this fictional market. A rank, like every other Practice figure, has no monetary value and is not a measure of real trading or investment performance.
5. AI-Generated Content
Certain content in the App — including news items associated with fictional companies in the Practice Trading feature — is generated using artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
AI-generated content is clearly labeled within the App.
AI-generated content is fictional, created for narrative and educational context, and does not describe real events, real companies, or real people.
Chart descriptions in Practice Trading are written by the App from the fictional price chart currently on screen: every number and sentence in them comes from the App. An AI model only suggests a shape name from a fixed list, and the App shows that name only when its own check of the chart agrees. A chart description describes the chart as it looks now and says nothing about what happens next. It is not advice, a recommendation, a forecast, or a signal to buy, sell, or hold anything.
AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, or unintended outputs. We do not guarantee its accuracy, and it should not be relied upon for any purpose outside the App's educational context.
6. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be at least 13 years old. Registration requires your date of birth, which is validated on our server; a registration showing an age under 13 is refused.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the App, or use it under the supervision of a parent/guardian if a minor.
Accounts are created with an email address and a password. The App offers no other sign-in method — there is no Google, Apple, or phone-number sign-in, and we do not collect a phone number.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate registration information and to update it as needed.
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → About → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and does not cancel an app-store subscription, which must be cancelled separately with the app store (see section 7).
7. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
The App offers a tiered subscription model with in-app purchases ("IAP") for additional features or content.
Prices are displayed in the App prior to purchase and may vary by region.
Purchases are processed through the applicable app store (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play) and are subject to that platform's payment terms.
Refunds are handled according to the policies of the app store through which the purchase was made — we do not directly process refunds. Contact Apple or Google support for refund requests.
Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date, per the applicable app store's subscription management settings. On an Apple device that is Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting your Ticktora account does not cancel the subscription, because it is billed by the app store and not by us.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing or tier features with reasonable notice.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App's operation or security
Use automated means (bots, scripts) to interact with the App, including to farm rewards, streaks, or in-app currency
Misrepresent Practice Trading results, AI-generated content, or simulated data as real market information outside the App
Upload or transmit harmful code, or attempt unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
Choose a display name or leaderboard handle, or send a friend request, that is abusive, harassing, obscene, impersonating, or otherwise objectionable
The only things other learners can see from you are:
your display name and your friend requests; and
if you are 18 or over and have not hidden yourself, your leaderboard handle, your rank, and your Practice return percentage for the current month.
The leaderboard never shows your name, email address, virtual cash, holdings, or trades. You can hide yourself from it at any time with the "Show me on the public leaderboard" switch in Profile → Leaderboard, or by choosing "Keep me off" on the one-time notice (shown in the Practice tab, and on the leaderboard and in Profile → Leaderboard until you answer it).
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour in any of these. Display names and leaderboard handles are filtered before they are stored; every league, leaderboard, and friend row can be reported and blocked from inside the App; and reported accounts are reviewed and may be renamed, have their leaderboard handle reset, or be suspended or removed without notice.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the "Mistake DNA," "Twin Timeline," "Reason Streak," and similar named features, quizzes, scenario data, and the underlying software — are owned by Lukshya Arora or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes only.
10. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services: the app store that processes purchases, our hosting provider, an AI provider that generates content and coaching feedback, a push notification service that delivers reminders, and a news provider that supplies headlines for the News tab. Our Privacy Policy names each of them and states exactly what is sent. Your use of such integrated services is also subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUKSHYA ARORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP — INCLUDING ANY REAL-WORLD FINANCIAL DECISION MADE IN RELIANCE ON APP CONTENT, WHICH IS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED AS A PERMITTED USE OF THE APP.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lukshya Arora, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi-NCR, India.
